DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: THE WILD BEYOND THE WITCHLIGHT - A FEYWILD ADVENTURE
Once every eight years, the Witchlight Carnival rolls into the world like a lantern-lit dream, trading in laughter, music, and the kind of wonder that makes even hardened adventurers feel like wide-eyed recruits again. Run by the charming and suspiciously well-dressed Mister Witch and Mister Light, the carnival promises joy at every tent flap and glittering surprise. But behind the painted smiles and bright lights, something is off… and the path from “harmless fun” to “fate of a realm” is shorter than you think.
The Wild Beyond the Witchlight is a whimsical, story-forward adventure for characters levels 1–8, taking players from the Witchlight Carnival into Prismeer, a Feywild domain of delight that’s begun to rot at the edges. Time and treachery have taken their toll, and unless bold souls intervene, the Hourglass Coven will tighten its grip and turn wonder into ruin. This adventure leans hard into clever choices and roleplay, with every encounter designed to be solvable without combat if your party prefers charm, bargains, and brilliant schemes over blades.
The book is easy to drop into an ongoing campaign, whether you want a single night of carnival games and strange bargains or a full journey into the Feywild’s dangerous beauty. It also introduces new character options, including the fairy and harengon races, plus the Feylost and Witchlight Hand backgrounds to tie your heroes directly to the magic. A poster map is included as well, showing the Witchlight Carnival on one side and Prismeer on the other.
