HOUSE RULES (Code of Conduct)

We believe everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to shop, learn, and play. To support this, we ask all patrons of The Brass Dragon to follow our store’s House Rules. If you have questions or concerns about this, please speak to a member of our staff.

1. Be Kind to Your Fellow Adventurers
The Brass Dragon is intended to be a haven for adventurers of all kinds. No matter your age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual preference, religious beliefs, political beliefs, disabilities, financial situation, experience level, or gaming knowledge, all gamers are to be welcomed and treated equally here.

2. Play Fair
We do not condone lying, cheating, stealing, or unfair tactics in our store. Please follow all game, campaign, and tournament rules and guidelines. Judge or staff rulings will be made in the spirit of fair play, good gamesmanship and without bias.

3. Be Clean
Please clean up after yourself, keep food and drinks covered, and be mindful of your hygiene. Some self-care and personal hygiene products are available in our restroom if needed.

4. Be Friendly to Your Party; Show Good Gamesmanship
We welcome adventurers of all experience levels, levels of interest and skill levels.  No matter what level your fellow table mates and/or opponents are, we ask that you keep competition friendly.  

5. Be a Gamer, not a Merchant
We know you’ve collected wondrous items during your travels. If you are interested in selling your board games, collectibles, or other tabletop gaming related items, please see a member of our staff. Personal sales and solicitation are not allowed on our premises.

6. Be Sober
The Brass Dragon is fashioned after a mythical fantasy tavern, but we expect our patrons to remember that it’s make-believe. As such, drugs and alcohol are not allowed on the premises, and intoxicated patrons may be asked to leave.

7. Don’t Breathe Fire
Please keep all smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) to your vehicles or to the parking lot, and at least 30 feet away from the front door. 

8. Keep the Environment Family-Friendly
The Brass Dragon is a family establishment. Please keep your language PG rated and be patient with kids around the store. Please refrain from behaviors or conversations that could make others around you uncomfortable.  

9. We Love Halflings but:  The Brass Dragon is not a Day Care

As much as we love having children visit, and we welcome all ages at certain designated events, all other events are intended for people aged 13 and up.  If your  child is not old enough to be playing at the event you are attending, please do not bring them to the event without prior staff approval. 

10.  Be Yourself, We Like You That Way

We are all a bit weird, odd, nerdy, strange and otherwise unique as human beings.  No matter what makes you different, all adventurers are welcome to visit, stay and play or find your new favorite game to take home.
