HOUSE RULES

Welcome, traveler! Within these hallowed halls of dice, daring, and delightful company, all are invited to shop, learn, and play in peace. To keep our tavern a haven for heroes of every kind, we ask that you heed the Brass Dragon’s House Rules. If questions arise, simply flag down a member of our noble staff.

1. Show Kindness to All Who Enter

Adventurers come in many forms—dwarves and elves, newbies and veterans, nobles and commoners, folks from near, far, and realms unknown. No matter one’s age, appearance, identity, beliefs, coin purse, or experience, all find equal welcome in this humble tavern.

2. Play Fair.  Cheating is Dishonorable.

Our proprietor is a Paladin at heart—glorious, gleaming, and very serious about honor. Thus, deceit, cheating, stealing, or rule-bending sorcery shall not be tolerated. Follow the rules of all games, quests, and tournaments as written upon their sacred scrolls.

3. Mind Thy Mess (Cleanliness is a Trait and a Skill)

While we’d love to snap our fingers and tidy the place with magic, alas—we must all clean like common folk. Keep food and drink covered, toss your trash properly, and tend to your personal hygiene as if you were about to meet the king. Supplies await in the restrooms for heroes in need of "freshening up."

4. Keep Peace with Your Party at the Table.

Not every patron seeks a duel. Keep competition friendly, banter lighthearted, and conversation free of anything that might offend nearby patrons. Respect the comfort of the fellowship around you.  Bullying other players, disruptive behavior or disruptive/overbearing game play will result in you finding another establishment at which to play.

5. Trade Only with the Tavernkeeper

We know many of you carry packs full of wondrous items and long-lost relics. But! All buying, selling, and haggling must go through the Brass Dragon’s staff. Personal sales and unsolicited bartering are forbidden within these walls, unless specifically approved by the Tavernkeeper.  Otherwise, save it for the marketplace outside the gates.

6. Keep a Clear Mind for Questing – Sobriety is magical!

A foggy head can turn even a simple chair into a mimic. Therefore, no ale, no potions of questionable origin, and no mind-altering herbs are allowed on the premises. Intoxicated patrons may be asked to depart and sleep it off in a safer realm.

7. Do Not Breathe Fire Indoors

The villagers scare easily, and smoke in the tavern is frowned upon. All smoking, vaping, and other dragon-breath activities must remain in your carriage, or in the carriage area out front (the parking lot). Please, we ask for no vapors of any kind near the entrance.

8. Mind the Halflings and Younglings

The Brass Dragon is a family-friendly hall. Keep your language fit for a royal feast and show patience toward small adventurers who wander through. Heroes under 14 years must quest with a responsible adult at all times.

9. Embrace Your Oddness - We Do!

We’re all a bit peculiar here—that’s half the magic. Whether you settle in for an epic campaign or wander home with a new treasure for your shelf, may your time at the Brass Dragon be merry, memorable, and full of adventure.
