DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: PHANDELVER AND BELOW - THE SHATTERED OBELISK
Set your pack by the hearth and keep one hand near your lantern, because not every quiet mining town stays quiet for long.
Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk begins in the beloved town of Phandalin, where familiar roads and friendly faces soon give way to something darker stirring beneath the earth. What starts as a classic high-fantasy adventure slowly twists into a deeper, stranger threat, as the heroes uncover signs that a malignant cult is working to turn Phandalin into the heart of a growing evil. To save the town from ruin, they’ll need to dig beneath the surface, follow the trail of corruption, and face horrors that were never meant to see the light.
This adventure is a fine road for both new Dungeon Masters and new players, while still offering plenty for veterans returning after Lost Mine of Phandelver. It preserves the well-loved quests and spirit of that earlier tale, then pushes beyond them into a brand-new campaign with classic dungeon-delving, creeping danger, and just enough horror to keep the torchlight feeling a little weaker than it should. Along the way, the book introduces roughly two dozen new creatures, many touched by psionic magic and body horror, plus a magic appendix with new consumable metamagic items and duergar magic to deepen the menace.
What’s inside:
- A full Dungeons & Dragons adventure centered on Phandalin

- A strong starting point for new DMs and players
- A bestiary with approximately two dozen new creatures

A fine tome for the table that likes its fantasy familiar at first glance, then stranger with every step below.
